  Came across this little gem but complete fluke. Beautiful food friendly staff and great atmosphere too.

  The pub has just changed Managers. Martin who was a brilliant chef has now left to work as chef at the Royal Oak Pett. He did his best to make a go of the Plough, but being a Shepherd Neame pub, the beer was not popular. The pub has had a makeover inside, but the pool table has been removed by the new manager. This generated a good income as the local pool club played there,
  It's hard to see how the pub will survive.

  Very good family in a atmospheric pub busier mid to late week sometimes earlier in the week. Value of drinks and food moderate. Well recommended.

  The plough westfield is a great little countty pub.just be sure that it is actually open when u plan to visit..
